Like many of you, Essence is environmentally conscious and considers the environment in our material selection process. All of the materials used throughout the entire Essence product line are of considerable quality, and environmentally friendly. We utilize various select grade hardwoods (chosen for their superior strength to weight ratio) and imported European Baltic Birch, all of which are commercially farmed, and renewable resources. Our foam is high quality, furniture grade, 100% polyurethane foam, and exceeds the state of California flammability requirement (technical bulletin 117). Our vinyl is a high quality, stain, and fade resistant polyurethane vinyl, with a thick fabric backing to ensure lasting durability. Respecting the environment, all Essence products are manufactured in full compliance with all local and federal environmental regulations.
